-=PCTechTalk=- Re: Attn: GMan - Re: " Bloated Inbox "

Teri,
I know I'm late with getting back to you on this, but I have to tell you
that ALL of us tech-heads at one time or another did something that seemed
like a good idea at the time and suffered the consequences. I've been
teaching one topic or another for about as long as I can remember and the
one thing that stands out as the most valuable lesson is the idea that
making mistakes and recovering from it will teach you a thousand times more
than reading it in a book. I can't begin to tell you how many installations
I've hosed by trying something that, in retrospect, I shouldn't have done.

I now have everything of importance on partitions or drives OTHER than
the one with my operating system. If I 'accidentally' destroy Windows, none
of my 'stuff' will be harmed. (I'll discuss this idea in much greater detail
in my next tutorial) :O)

Peace,
GMan
