-=PCTechTalk=- Re: Anyone know a really good uninstaller program? (Freeware would be best)

I also recommend Revo Uninstaller. It works better if you use it instead of
the Windows built-in Uninstaller, but should remove enough to at least allow
you to reinstall the program. Oh, if the target program doesn't show up in
the list of programs to uninstall, then try the "Hunter Mode" in Revo.
Sometimes if you run Windows Uninstaller, it removes the uninstall info
before it crashes, which makes it more difficult for Revo to find
everything.

For Revo to do its best job, you might have to go into safe mode and do a
System Restore Point to before you tried the Windows built-in Uninstaller.
Then run Revo Uninstaller to remove everything.

One question... are you uninstalling so that you can re-install? Or just
getting rid of the program?

Could be. A couple of things might work - start OS in safe mode then try
removing them, or. Download and use Revo Uninstaller.
Just suggestions.
