What are these 3 free programs you're referring to?
Thx!

Evidence Eliminator is overpriced. You can do the same thing as that
program with about three other programs and a secure wipe utility. Best of
all they are free where EE is what $150?

Hi,

I use AVG (free version) as well and if I get really
worried I go to Panda online but AVG has been very
good and they update like all the others. However AVG
and many others don't catch things like the bridge.dll
and even though Norton will catch it there is a long
list of instructions on how to remove it - which work
by the way. Spybot misses that one too for some reason
- maybe because it looks like a program and is
installed as a "helper" file to windows explorer so it
looks legit. For security Under Win98se I use the
following free programs: Zone alarm, EasyCleaner,
Spybot, Cookie Spy and AVG. I also use REGRUN2 Watch
Dog(not free) which has always alerted me to programs
that have installed themselves without my permission
and Regrun is very non intrusive. When I have been
naughty (hardly ever) I use Windows Washer (not free)
and Evidence Eliminator (also not free).
