    Yes, utilities like those will suggest an update if the existing one is 
older than a set limit, even if there are no problems with the present one 
&/or a replacement doesn't even exist.       lol

    The BIOS that's available at the site is A03 (compared to your A02) with 
a release date of 2/17/2006.  According to the site, the only noted 
difference is support for newer processors.  However, there are almost 
always undocumented bug fixes and such included in these.

    As I mentioned yesterday, installing this may help or it may not do 
anything.  In most cases, I don't recommend updating a BIOS unless there's a 
specific reason for doing so.  We have a reason here, so I'm going to 
suggest trying it.  There should be a text file inside the compressed 
download.  If you have any questions after reading it, give a yell.
