-=PCTechTalk=- Re: Another Puzzle no spell check in OE

Sorry about the other post with nothing in it (LOL). I was
testing to see if spell check worked and forgot to send it to
myself as a test. I was totally surprised to see it here (Duh)

Getting rid of the old spell checker got rid of the annoying
message but still no spell checking.

Then it dawned on me. I installed MS Office Pro but never
opened Word. Apparently it needs to go through it's thing for
Spell to work in OE. It did but now I have a problem

Spell Check is giving me words in Spanish?????

Yet Word opens in English.

Judith,
OE won't know what to do until you remove one spell checker
or the other
across the OS. In other words, this change you need to make
will not be
done from within OE at all. Instead, try uninstalling ABC and
see if OE can
then pick up on the one included with Office. It should happen
automatically once one of the two SC's are no longer present on
the system.

Peace,
Gman
