I received an E-mail from Lavasoft announcing the AdAware 6 was available. I
received it because I'm a registered owner of AdAware. I went to the site and
downloaded it.

¤¤Glad you liked it. I kept it.......and installed it here in
¤Scottsdale as well. Great little program.
¤¤
¤¤I also downloaded Adaware 6. Shame so many bad mouthed it when
¤they rewrote the code. So far, it looks very interesting. You can
¤tell they really reworked it, didn't just do an update. We'll so
¤how it works.

¤¤¤| As most of you know, I love to test programs and | find the best
¤¤¤to | bestow the coveted "Keyboard Cowboy Seal of Approval". I take
¤¤¤| great | pride in finding really good, stable & solid performing,
¤¤¤| useful | little freeware, shareware and commercial products.
¤¤¤| | A long time ago I wrote about a little program called MyIE.
¤¤¤
¤¤¤| It was a | slick little freeware program that was sort of a
¤¤¤shell for IE
¤¤¤
¤¤¤<snipped>
¤¤¤
¤¤¤| Someone in one of the groups (perhaps it was Dave?) |
¤¤¤recommended a | shell program called SlimBrowser from Flashpeak.
¤¤¤I've also | seen it | featured in severl software lists. The
¤¤¤program used to cost | $20, but | as of Nov., 2002, it became
¤¤¤freeware. I tried it and WoW!!
¤¤¤
¤¤¤| I'm | impressed. It works almost identical to MyIE2 except it's
¤¤¤a | bit | faster. I can create "groups" of URL's that can be
¤¤¤opened | with one | click. It isn't automatic, but it's fast.
¤¤¤The interface is | clean, | and it has a search section built into
¤¤¤the interface so Google | is | easy to get to. It also has a pop-
¤¤¤up killer built in which | MyIE and | MyIE2 didn't have. I use
¤¤¤Zero Popup with IE, but Zero Popup | didn't | work with the shell
¤¤¤programs. | | I've been using Slim Browser for a while and really
¤¤¤like
¤¤¤
¤¤¤| it............think I'll have to rescind my Seal of Approval |
¤¤¤on MyIE, | and give it to Slim Browser. You can find it at: | |
