As you are most likely know there is a ton of good stuff out there in 
the freeware market place.  Also, I am using CA Internet Security 
Suite because my internet provider, BrightHouse/RoadRunner, gives it 
to us FREE.  The spam filter is terrible, but the rest works great.

Comcast provides McAfee free.  My Mom uses it with no complaints yet.

AVG has been giving a lot of people a lot fits recently.  Many are 
switching to AVAST or other freebies for anti-virus.
