-=PCTechTalk=- Re: AGAIN: A good spam killer needed? Or some advice, please?

one of many way to discover who owns an IP is to try whois
http://cqcounter.com/whois/ though the bad guys are disguised a lot and it
could take a lot of work to find out who they really are, but if they are
la-git whois is one way

I'm getting a lot of spam (or virus attacks?) from
the same source, but I cannot use the OExp filters against it because they
use constantly different return addresses and variable msges. The idea is to
try and get me to open up a stupid zip attachment, which of course I'll
never do here..!

It's all coming from the same 3 originating IP addresses:
IP 206.46.169.119
IP 206.46.169.121
IP 206.46.169.123

I've tried reporting this to my ISP, Verizon, but they are too dense to
understand that they need to block out these originating IP addresses, and
they keep telling me it's my problem! It's gonna be THEIR problem soon if I
cannot get a good spam blocker program that will block out garbage based on
the originating IP address and not on phony email addresses, because then
I'm gonna get rid of Verizon!

Can anyone recommend a good spam program for this? Free Mailwasher won't
work because it insists on using only the main mail acct, and this is
happening on one of my sub-accounts. If I buy Pro Mailwasher, (which will
accept multiple email accounts), will it block out spam using the
originating IP addresses? Or is there any other good spam protecting program
that does this?

Thanks,
Greywoulf
