I now have 2 sticks of RAM. Slot 1 has 1024 MB and Slot 2 has 256 MB. I mentioned to my tech that I had read "somewhere" that if the sticks were not equal the computer would slow down to the lesser of the two. I probably have said that all wrong but anyway I did convey to him that I thought they should be equal. He said he had been doing this for 10 years now and had never had a problem doing it this way. Another big sigh----:-) I am, as you may have gathered by now, gradually leading up to sharing with you the problem I am now having. The list is so busy this morning I kind of hate to introduce something new.
