Delores, with your 2 panes open, on the left pane at the top is 
the Name **Folders** -- look to the right and there is an X.  If 
you click on it, it takes you back to the way XP normally looks 
with the left pane showing "File and Folder Tasks," "Other 
Places," and Details.

Actually I don't use it anymore because I can right click and 
get the ability to rename, move or copy folders when I am in the 
2 pane **tree** mode that looks like the old file manager.

hmm now I don't get that - no x to click on and just the tree in
