-=PCTechTalk=- Re: 2 panes

Cool!!

I have a friend, who is very resistant to change...

He just bought a new computer last week when he was here in Vegas.

He bought a new one some time in the 90's and then just took it to the shop
and had upgrades and things done to it....
He was still running Windows 95 until a couple of years ago and finally got
Win 98 ....

I had given him a Win XP for Dummies book and a Cd training set for XP a
couple of years ago as he was going to get a new PC and then did not. He
just dug out the box (Care Package) I sent and will be trying those out
soon.

I will send him your instructions on keeping the file tree. I think he will
like it.
Thanks for the info.....

If you click on that X, it gets rid of the File Tree, but it
does not change
the default. So, the next time you open Windows Explorer (My
Computer) you
will have the file tree there!

Even if you click My Documents which I have on my desktop, you
can get to My Computer stuff at the bottom of the tree.
