-=PCTechTalk=- Re: 2 panes

If by chance you still have your 3.1 floppy disks, locate the File Manager
program on them, copy it to your hard drive, create a short cut on your desktop
to where you copied it and you an still run File Manager. It may also be on
98SE CD-Roms, I cannot remember.

Having 2 panes is great! Reminds me of 3.1 and the beauty of
the file manager that was in it. I missed the convenience of
it. Now I have it back with the two panes.

If you too want to experience it, all you need to do is:

In XP, click on:

Tools,
Folder Options
Click on File Types Tab
Highlight Folder
Click Advanced
Highlight explore
Click set default
Click OK
Click OK again

I even got rid of all the shortcuts on my desktop because I
don't need them anymore. I simply click on My Documents Folder
and everything I need is there in tree format with the plus
signs by them. Sure makes for a more organized and prettier
desktop (smile).
