Was able to download new audio drivers and get my sound working from your
link. This group is always a big help. I'll never give up yard sales. Have
bought several computers and monitors, external and internal modems, CD
drives and a bunch of cables and adapters at them. Most were real bargains
and never paid enough to get really burned.

work and a little smarts will give great rewards. Keep shopping!
BTW, HP has all the stuff for Compac's and they have maintained their
old database well. Drivers and other things like manuals are easy to
