-=PCTechTalk=- OT-natural salt

Mary Lou, a lot of the your veggies grown in the organic garden have natural
salt in them that the ground itself nourishes the plant with, which is
basically most of the salt a human body needs. For instance, if your tongue, or
when you lose a tooth, you will taste salt. The human body cannot exist without
salt. The key word is BALANCE. Our bodies are supposed to be alkaline and most
of the preservatives and and additives put into our food in manufacturing
plants contain acid and salt. Once a can of beans has been blanched in salt
water, it is impossible to rinse all the salt off that soaked into the
partially cooked product.

Some poor countries, that almost exist on rice or soy products do not eat
cabbage, celery, tomatoes, eggplants, and other foods that provide us with
sodium, and that is why they suffer diseases from a lack of natural salts.
(earth salts or salts near a body of salt water that saturates the soil with
natural salt).
It is next to impossible to eat a meal anymore that is not either grown
organically (no chemical fertilizers or insecticides).
Unless you are buying 'organic' meats, it is impossible to buy meat that has
not been injected with harmones (while the animal was alive), vaccinations for
animal disease, and chemical additive food to make the animals mature faster
and with less fat. Not to mention the preservatives added at the packing plant
to keep the meat from spoiling for a longer period of time. Scary huh?
I could write a book, but won't unless Gman OK'S more of this off topic stuff
and decides how we can do it without interrupting his original thread about
computer problems. I'm the original computer dummy (they wrote a few books for
me:o). And need all the info I can get:o)

Your call Gman, if you want me to blather on, I'm all
mouth,,,,,uh,,,,er,,fingertips:o) Marie K
