The way I do it is search cooking and tons come up, I will join one and see if
I like there recipes or if the list has many posts but the best way is to just
try them out.
Here are a few I have receved from groups.
Green Bean / Chicken Casserole
13 X 9 inch pan
Stove top dressing or bag of cheap dressing
1 stick oleo
1 Lg can Cream of Mushroom soup
Chicken - cut up
Green Beans (frozen or canned)
1 cup broth or water
1 cup dry dressing or bread crumbs
Spray pan with non stick spray or line with foil.
If your using regular chicken... boil until done, cool, then debone.
Mix dressing mix with melted butter until its covered or use the amount of
water it calls for. Layer pan with dressing ... then chicken... then green
beans. Top with cream of mushroom soup and cup of water or broth.
lastly top with dry dressing, bread crumbs, etc.
Bake at 325 for about 30 to 40 mins to heat through (everything is already
cooked) Freezes great!

Crockpot Pizza Recipe
1 pound ground beef
1 package pepperoni, sliced
1 (15 ounce) can pizza sauce
2 cups mozzarella cheese
1/2 package rigatoni noodles
1/4 cup onion, chopped
Brown ground beef and onion, drain. Put into crock pot or casserole.
Add slightly cooked rigatoni. Then add cheese and pepperoni slices.
Add pizza sauce. Toss lightly. Cook until cheese is melted.

CROCKPOT MEATLOAF

(Makes 6 servings)
Ingredients:
------------
1/2 cup whole milk
2 slices white bread
1 1/2 lb ground beef
2 eggs
1 small onion, peeled
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp dry mustard
1 can (12 oz.) whole tomatoes
Instructions:
-------------
Place the milk and the bread in a large mixing bowl, and let stand until
the bread has adsorbed all the milk. With two forks, break the bread
into crumbs. Beat the ground beef into the crumbs until well mixed.
make a hollow in the center of the meat and break the eggs into it.
Beat the eggs a little; then grate the onions into the eggs. Add salt,
pepper and mustard. Beat the eggs into the beef. Shape into a round
cake and place in the slow cooker. Drain the tomatoes, and place them
on the meat. Cover and cook on Low for 5 to 7 hours.
Before serving, uncover the pot; turn the heat to High, and bubble away
some of the sauce. It should be thick, not thin.
DAVE'S MEAT LOAF

Ingredients:

1 lb extra lean ground beef
1/4 lb sausage meat
1/4 cup dark beer
1 egg
2 slices of bread torn into soft crumbs
1 onion, chopped
3 tblsp chopped parsley
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
few drops Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco sauce
Instructions:

Combine all ingredients and gently shape into a round loaf. Place on a
trivet in crockpot. Cover and cook on low, about 7 to 8 hours. Serve
with tomato sauce or chilli sauce. Chill leftovers and slice for
sandwiches the next day.

Ingredients:
------------
2 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 tsp cayenne pepper
3 tsp oregano
1/2 cup fine cracker crumbs
2 cloves crushed garlic
1/2 small onion (grated)
2 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp basil
1 1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp cumin
1 tsp soya sauce
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
-------------
You may adjust the spices to taste...up the cayenne pepper to really
spice it up.
Mix all spices and cracker crumbs in bowl or bag. Add to meat and
onion. Mix well (knead) and shape in loaf pan. Bake @ 300 degrees for
1 1/2 hours. Cool and slice thin.
Sauce:
------
2/3 cup can milk
2/3 cup white sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
cornstarch
Mix 1/4 cup vinegar and cornstarch. Add to milk and sugar. Heat 'til
thick.

I was also hoping to get some input on good cooking lists but I never saw any
suggestions posted other than a vague comment on a crockpot list (no actual
name). I like to cook and probably own 400 - 500 cook books.
