-=PCTechTalk=- Microsoft Fingerprint reader

Hi Folks,
I bought a Microsoft USB fingerprint reader today

It seems like a slick device.
once the software is loaded you plug it in and follow
the instructions to give it the 2 fingers you wish it to
recognize (either one works).

Then restart your computer
When prompted for the password you touch your finger
to the pad and enter your login.
It remembers it and you just have to touch it next time to log in.

Works with XP and Vista, as well as my yahoo login so far.

I was getting tired of having to keep entering the 3 ID login
on each of my Vista and XP computers, Administrator, user Mike,
and guest.
Guest is for the kids, very limited access to some web sited
and cannot save anything on the hard drive

It gets annoying after 30 or 40 reboots.

There also seem to be a number of Vista updates today.
Which is odd as had done a number of them yesterday.

Mike
