I am using windows xp pro and office 2000. My hard drive went out on me and I
installed the programs on the new hard drive. Now when I click on Outlook
"Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Outlook cannot be configured because
Administrator privileges are required for you to install some types of software
on this computer. Before you can use Outlook, you must either log on to your
computer as an Administrator and finish configuring Outlook, or ask your System
Administrator to configure Outloook email support for you."
I have tried loging on as "the" administrator. But it has not made any
difference. Does anyone else have the some ideas about how to solve this
problem?
Thanks
Randy
