Hi: I had to download Java Runtime Environment 1.4 for school. Seems like a lot of malicious code seem to use Java for their deliverance...is this the Runtime Environment that malicious code uses to spread to vulnerable pcs? I'm always afraid of strange things happening and hate downloading new stuff unless I've checked it out... Thanks for your input.
