-=PCTechTalk=- Internet explorer and other things

Hi all
I seem to be having a problem with spyware etc overtaking internet explorer
and my home page.
I have used ad-aware, spybot, Norton anti virus.
Can someone  tell me where in the registry that I may be able to find the
homepage for Ie as that may be the problem.
I have windows xp home
Thanks hope someone is able to assist because its annoying
