-=PCTechTalk=- HP Scanner driver/ HP Director issue

Suddenly my HP Director will not initialize so that I can scan and make =
.pdf files.  I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software to no =
avail.

I haven't installed any new software since the issue started.

Any help appreciated.
