Some time ago I downloaded Google desktop as I had read in PC World that it
found things faster than Explorer on the computer. It is kind of neat but
takes up space so I usually have it closed and sitting in the notification
area.
Today I found a new folder in My Documents labeled Gooogle Gadgets. I don't
recall downloading it. Not to say I absolutely did not, just don't remember
doing it. I have been a big fan of Google and their products but wonder if
they are getting a bit intrusive?? The folder has a couple of clocks, a
calendar, and some other "gadgets" that can be added to the desktop bar which I
have docked to the right of my screen when I do use it. Just wondering if
others have downloaded this item and what you think of it by now.
