-=PCTechTalk=- Firewire question

Hi all,

I had posted a question awhile back about firewire card but cant find it in 
the archives.  How would one know what kind of firewire card to buy?  My 
sister wants to upload movies from her camcorder to her computer to email 
out.  She told me she thought she needed a firewire card.  She has a Dell 
computer and I have her camcorder info somewhere written down.  Is there one 
kind of firewire that fits all systems or are there certain models?  Also am 
supposing she needs a cord to go from camcorder to computer for uploading 
like I do with digital camera.
