Hi.. I've been quiet for a long time.. all well on my end. I am
pretty much just skimming through the posts, as a lot pertain
to XP only. One day I'll have to catch up, I suppose ;)
Today, I received a .max extension file... tried to open it with
Photoshop.. no go.. Also I forgot to uncheck the "Always open
with.." box. Photoshop cannot open a .max but refuses to give
it up. What to do? (Win98, also have Office97 and Paint Shop
Pro 6.) I have google-searched file extensions and .max belongs
to some programs I have never heard of...
Question 2: If the computer can doggedly remember a wrong
thing I asked it to do, how come it won't remember that just
about every day for ten years (or so ;) I ask to see "Details"
in Outlook Explorer, my Computer, etc. and get "Large icons".
Where is the master switch ? :)
Anitra in Pioneertown, thankful for all thoughts on this...
