Has anyone installed Windows XP Pro in a dual boot configuration on a 64-bit
Vista Home Premium system? (I am having so many (and various) computer
problems with my desktop system that I am considering getting an HP Multimedia
System that has (shudder) Windows Vista on it. I have a few 16-bit programs
that I have to run (there are no compatible 64-bit equivalents); XP Pro runs
them fine; Vista doesn't (I tried several of them at Office Depot). The
computer is a sweet deal: 750 GB Hard Drive; 1 GB ethernet card; quad-core; 6
GB of RAM; Digital and Analogue TV Tuner (with PVR) and FM tuner....and even a
remote control! (Mushy keyboard, though). Fast as all get out -- even running
Vista....
