-=PCTechTalk=- Dealing with Spam in OE

I had one of those AHA moments. My main account was getting
filled up with spam.

Since I want to keep this email address, it dawned on me to do
the following:

Send everything addressed to my main account to my Deleted
Folder. Then go into it and pick out the notices I want to keep
and make a message rule from that notice and have it go back
into my main account. After a few weeks, I will no longer have
spam in my main account only those things I want to look at
first or act upon.

I already have folders set up for Family and Friends and the
lists I AM on like this one.

Will let you know how this works out.

I do not want to have mailwasher or anything like that program.
Since I have Norton's Anti-Virus checking everything that comes
in and I know not to open any attachments, plus everything is
only read in text format -- this should work well for me.

Before I could do shift- highlight and mass delete but this
should be even easier.
