I took advantage of all the pre christmas sales to upgrade the computer. Started with an ASUS N3N78 PRO Motherboard with an AMD Phenom 9850 BLACK EDITION 2.5GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache 2MB L3 Cache Socket AM2+ 125W Quad-Core Processor. Two sets of pqi TURBO 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory for a total of 8GB. And a MSI N9800GT 512M OC GeForce 9800 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card. And also a bigger Sunbeam PSU-HUSH680-US-BL 680W ATX 12V 2.0 Power Supply. Also I went from Poser 7 to Poser PRO which supports 64 bit rendering. Finaly because I now need/want 64 bit capability I had to go from Windos XP to Windos Vista. Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic SP1 64-bit for System Builders. Then it turned out that I had to go to Fry's and get a new case because the old one wasn't big enough to hold everything. So it turns out that the only thing left from the old system is the two hard drives and DVD drives. That takes us to where I am at right now still with several issues to be resolved. A couple years back I got Jepe's Movie Props for Poser from Renderosity.com. In his readme file it states: Needed Files: 1) An AMD, Intel based personal computer, this product will not work on MACs (Video codec is not supported) or in DS. 2) Intel Indeo Video Codec 4.5 Download here, if you can't find it elsewhere: After installing Windows Vista Intel Indeo Video Codec 4.5 is no longer available on my computer. The Movie Props have been withdrawn from Renderosity and the download link is no longer functioning. I still need to use the movie props in my work. So my problem is that I have been unable to restore Intel Indeo 4.5 to the computer. Most thankful for any help that you can offer, Warren --------------------------------------------------------------- Please remember to trim your replies (including this sentence and everything below it) and adjust the subject line as necessary.
