Cajun,
I'm not Glen, but I think that it is saying two separate things. One
that drivers may not be needed. Two, if drivers are needed they have not
been installed. Thus you may need to install drivers.

Glen, why does Device Manager Properties Driver Tab for CD-ROM and
CD-RW's say "No driver files are required or have been loaded for this
device" if they require drivers?
