Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Linux?
There was a discussion sometime ago about a version of Linux you could
run from a CD. Does anybody have that link?
I think that the program that you are looking for is Knoppiz ... it originated
from Germany ... you can order a CD for about $4.00 plus shipping ... or
download the program fee from their Web site .
Go here:
http://www.knopper.net/knoppix/index-en.html
Also there is now a free version of the Linspire Linux system ... it`s called
FreeSpire ... I ordered a CD from FreeSpire and installed it on my third PC and
now use Netzero as my ISP to connect it to the Internet .
