-=PCTechTalk=- Any advice?

 Getting ready to put together my first computer from scratch. That is as
soon as I run and get a heatsink and fan for the CPU which I forgot to order
 Power supply is already in case. Thought I would mount the CPU on the mobo
before I put it in the case.  Then plug in power and other wires (other
first ) to board. Then install and plug in drives, install RAM last. Want to
add video card later, but will use built in to get it up and running. Have
installed drives and cards before, but this is my first mobo. When do I use
the CD that comes with the board? Can I use it before I load WinXP? I'm a
little nervous about the wires.
