-=PCTechTalk=- AfterShot startup

I installed Jasc's AfterShot. It +insists+ on being part of the startup family.
I have gone to Msconfig startup and unchecked it so it does not auto-load,
and next time I reboot, it is rechecked. Does anyone have any suggestions
short of deleting the application to remove that? I am trying to get just a
little more memory.
Thanks.
Robert
