Having requested that people here (who are healthy enough and able to?) try to trim their returning messages, I hereby offer a suggestion on how to do this... ">}) I keep in my email files a permanent copy of a pctechtalk digest that has only one short posting in it. (Every once in a while one really does come thru like this..) ">}) So when I want to reply to a topic in a large digest, I'll simply black out and copy the pertinent data in this large digest that I want to reply to. Then I'll open my short permanently saved digest file, paste in the new data, put in a new subject line (or the old one again), cut out the not-relative data left over from the saved shorter file, and then just hit ~REPLY~. Works like a charm everytime, and IMO is so easy to do that unless you have really poor short term memory problems there's really no good reason not to do it. (-It's exactly what I've done with this message...) Please, I'm not trying to be offensive here... Nor am I telling everyone what they have to do! This is just a suggestion, because I feel that even a little consideration re this stuff will help all of us out on this forum, yes?
