-=PCTechTalk=- A technical question....

Assume the following:
1. I have a spare copy of Windows XP Pro that I intend to install on a
new computer
2. I intend to purchase a new motherboard and CPU in the near future
which will support large amounts of memory, say, 8 Gigs
I know that Windows XP Pro can only address something less than 4 Gigs of
memory. Would it be possible to use the rest of the memory as a virtual
hard drive, placing the page file, for example in that virtual drive. This
would have certain advantages: speed, as Ram is much faster than any hard
drive and security, because shutting off the computer would delete the
contents of the paging file, making it more difficult for hackers to get
private information from a previous session.
Is what I am suggesting possible and, if so, what software would I need to
accomplish it?
Another reason that I am doing this is: should M$ actually come up with a
decent post-XP OS, I'll have the Ram to run it in. ;-)
