I have a really rudimentary question. In a Windows upgrade, what
happens when we upgrade it. Do we then have to attach all our
existing programs. I am getting conflicting answers at this end,
so I thought I would ask the experts.

I can tell you one thing. There is no difference between the
upgrade and
the 'full' version. The 'upgrade' has more to it so as to
recognize and
keep all your previous settings. In other words, the real
'full' version is
the 'upgrade'. :-)
