[pchelpers] when buying a new pc....?

I need some input.  I know everyone might have a differing opinion, but I still 
want to see what you  have to say.

When buying a new pc from a company like Dell or Gateway....
they come with Win XP or 2000 or ME it seems.  I guess you can't get one with 
98 on it anymore.
What would you recommend for someone that has been using win 95 for a million 
years and is not that pc literate?

Also, they are use to using their old version of WordPerfect, and some 
Microsoft Word.  It seems no bundled software packages come with WordPerfect 
anymore.  Do you think they should get 'office' and then install their old 
WordPerfect software?  <Just wondering because that is what they are use to 
using.>

I'll probably have more questions, but that will do for a start.
