I had something similar happen when trying to open different
programs. One time there was a Microsoft error message that asked if I
wanted to report this fatal error. I clicked Yes and in a few seconds
Microsoft shot back a message indicating a problem with my firewall
"Outpost". I went back out to Outpost and they no longer have the free
version so I went to a Komando Tip and pulled down another Free Firewall
called Jetico Personal. It works good but it is painful starting up
another Firewall just because of all the ALLOWs you have to walk through.
Information for whatever it is worth. Weird all right.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
