(Ed, I'm not PC, but I also have webshots on my pc.)
Webshots plants itself in your task bar start up menu.
That way, if you WANT to get the picture of the day free, you can.
As soon as I reboot, I just close it out. Occasionally I go check out
the photo before I close it out, but it's no problem to close it out.
