[pchelpers] Re: waste of time

I too have serious doubts about these so called image programs. I've used
Ghost 6 and ghost 2002 and only once in a while have I been able to replace
a problem partition with an image I took earlier, usually I have to reformat
and install from scratch. I've not been able to find the answer yet. It
usually tells me "bad blocks" encountered, though no mention of this was
given the image was taken. I've used Drive image, but found that this too
had weird problems. The only thing I can think of to try is to run Scandisk
(thorough) and defrag before attempting to take any image and hope that this
works, although, I do have my doubts as many I've talked to have done this
but still have problems with replacing images.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
