You may still have infections. Avoid getting this machine to heal 
itself. It probably can't as long as infections are there. Passive 
scanning is the most successful way. That is slaving the hard drive to 
your system then using a thorough antivirus like bitdefender to root out 
the nasties. It does a great job.
