Hmmm... Part of this could be a cache problem. If your search is not in
your local cache you might lose it. Still, most search engines will keep
a page current for a few minutes.
As for Copernic, you download the program to your PC and install it. The
program keeps itself updated with search engine information using
multiple engines. The searches you do are all preserved in it for later
use if you want them. When you make a search, it queries up to ten
different engines with your search and then organises the results for
you most likely first.
I like google too, but find it more convenient to use the email service
they offer. What you do is send an email to:
google@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
and in the subject line put the search words etc.
Google emails you back the results and you keep them. If you want
another search, send another email. If you like, send a bunch of emails
and do a whole batch of searches.
