Got a weird one here.
I plug my USB keyboard into a USB port on my pc when the pc is on and it works.
But after I turn off my pc and then boot it up, I get a message saying there is
a key board error, no keyboard, then press F1 to continue.......which of course
I cannot as the keyboard isn't there (this happens with any USB keyboard and
any USB port I use)
However, when I plug the keyboard in using a USBto PS2 adaptor, the PC boots,
reads the keyboard is there and everything works just fine. The keyboard is a
media type and the software installed OK.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
