Remember I told you all about RMAing my motherboard.
Well newegg no longer carried that motherboard so they upgraded me.
Last night I got everything up and running, and was it a pain.
When I get more time I well post about all I went thru to get my
computer running.
Hint: when you upgrade a x2 cpu to a x3, remember to disable the AMD x2
cpu optimizer program.
Asrock A780FullDisplayPort Motherboard
AMD 64 Phenom X3 8750 Black Edition Cpu
4G Fatal1ty High Performance DDR2 Memory 1066
XFX 8800 Gs Video card
One thing that I don't like about the new board is that the pci-e slots
are to close together.
There are only two and my Videocard and my 650 TV capture card can't fit
at the same time.
I had to drop down to my 550 Capture card cause it is thinner.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
