Apparently only in cases of overquoting, not in cases of messages longer 
than 5000 characters (without spaces) total, i.e. about 1500 characters 
in the message itself, without the list signature and all the headers 
added automatically. An announcement for this can probably be easily 
implemented, perhaps by a simple setting change.

In any case, i got no announcement explaining why my long message was 
not posted, and this has happened before IIRC. I just guessed correctly 
that it was due to its length because my test message was posted 
immediately and because it was already evening and nighttime (20:38, 
23:16) for you when i sent the long and test messages.
