Everyone has been correct... the system tray is part of the task bar,
and is located at the end of the task bar. The task bar is normally on
the bottom of the screen (it apparently can't be moved in Vista),
which would make it the bottom right corner. RIGHT-clicking on the
taskbar and selecting Properties will bring up a menu from which you
can select which icons in the system tray are normally hidden or
visible (XP and Vista automatically hide them after a while unless you
force them to be shown or hidden, or disable the auto-hide). MSCONFIG
can be used to remove icons from the system tray completely.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
