Pen, I had a very similar experience with a lady up in Toronto.
Her AntiVirus scan ran every day but she had not updated it since it had
been installed. The Virus she had was the KlezE variety which could
only be removed by using a program from AVG or Symantec. Booting form the
Boot Diskette was required and the program run from the DOS command
line..
