Are you sure these problems happened without them instructing / allowing 
Spybot to delete these programs? Did they enable Spybot's real-time 
protection called TeaTimer? What programs were these?

Spybot is pretty useless nowadays except maybe to clean up an infected 
computer after having used other antispyware programs to check that 
these didn't miss anything. More info:
