        ReNa, if I understand your sequence, you still had the document
up in WORD without saving it when you went back to OmniPage. When word
opens a file it puts a lock on it so it cannot be opened by anything
else. If you saved the WORD file by another name the lock should come off
I believe. In other words, two programs cannot open the same file in edit
mode.
