If so, yours is the only case I ever heard of. I'm betting this is a
hardware modem on a PCI card. The often misused 'winmodem' grouping may
be inappropriate in your case. It's generally reserved for software
driven modems (that's as in software everything, not just the old rs232
serial port operations).
