There's always Remote Assistance.

If you make a habit of helping people over the phone, you might look
at UltraVNC; what you do is download and install the client software
on your system. Then, you download UltraVNC SC ("SingleClick"), which
you configure to your requirements, and then have her download from
you (your website or whatever). When she runs it, it immediately
connects to your client if you have both set up right, and you can see
and control her system.

Client (for you):
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/ultravnc/UltraVnc-Viewer-101.zip?download

SC version (you set up for her to download and run):
http://www.uvnc.com/addons/singleclick.html
The SC package is only 166KB in size, so even a 28.8Kbs modem user can
download it fairly quickly.

Sounds like a mouse problem. Don't forget to check that she installed
the software for it.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
