If you've never had a license agreement appear after inserting a CD,
then you're not likely to have had a problem in that regard.

If you have NOT been having any problems which seem to be related to
it, then I'd suggest that you not tempt fate by fixing something that
isn't clearly broken.

You already have a problem to deal with, and that is the issue of
whether or not you have a rootkit on your system.
