Running fdisk removes everything, including a virus. Note- even basic
level antivirus programs are designed to detect and deal with boot
sector virus infections.

For best results with these, reboot using a good clean boot disk and
scan in DOS mode or as near to. This ensures there isn't a virus copy
lurking in memory where it can return from (the Junkie virus is known
for this sneaky tactic).
